Please have a look at one of my posts few pages ago - I had the same issue, it is an issue with the access rights......do all the 3 modifications and it will work perfectly.

The sound files are on the server - there must be another issue. The sound is also enabled in the admincp - do you have a further hint for me? I do not use the standard style.....
