the VBSSO login box has a link to "Site Admin" (/wp-admin/)
is this safe? is it really needed...can it be removed?

i think the link to "profile" and "logout" link should be fine.

I have not purchased it, but since then VBSSO has come out. I think VBSSO is a great solution.
I am working on a different project right now, so I have no interest at this moment to get a VB bridge...
