Board is stuck "on"

Trying to make make a hosting move. Closed the board to make a database copy, only to find later that while it states that the forums are off at the top of the site, you can still post on the boards....

we had the same spam hit our site over the past few days. finally seems to have stopped since changing to a q/a that requires thought and effort.

I'm doing that. The problem is that that even though they are in the "users waiting" queue, they can still log into the site. i want to prevent that from happening. I think that's how the spambots...

disallow signing in forum before approved

I want to keep new forum registrations from being able to sign in before their registration is approved (moderated). How do I do that? I hope it will keep the spam bots from using up my band width. ...

Content Columns issue

I created a new grid for one of my CMS pages. It's a simple 1 column page, with n sidebar oor widgets. In the editor for that page, I set the "content columns" to 1 column, to work with the new grid...
