? measure clicks on custom/sponsor ads

I've put a few sponsor ads (for a boating site I operate) in the built-in vBulletin sidebar.
These are just jpg's.

Is there a way for me to measure how many clicks these things get ?...

The VB4 admin console does *not* allow you to post ads into a board row (for instance, just to the right of the label 'General Discussion' on the main page of a forum).

How can that be done ?
