Login to forum when logging in externally

I've seen this mentioned elsewhere but have been unable to replicate it.

I have an external site which is logging into the vB database with no problems. But I would like to have my login script...

External login logs out after 15 minutes

I've managed to get a script working to login using vB on an external site, but users get logged out after 15 minutes (presumably due to lack of activity, even if I am doing something).

I guess...

I'm using an external file, test.php on the root....

I'm using an external file, test.php on the root. I'm testing it to see if I can get it to work, with a view to including it on a site. I just want to have access to the userid/name/avatar.

Replies really slow

My forum is running fine, but replies take ages to post...sometimes I'm waiting on the reply screen after I've pressed post about 5-10 seconds :mad: I've no idea why...is this likely to be server...

Hi everyone,

How do I add small sub forums to a forum? Like on here, where they show as little icons with a little link, rather than being a full blown sub forum? :confused:
