The "$show['newthreadlink']" was in forumdisplay to begin with, I just added the array bit.

I tried what you gave, yet it still didn't hide the New thread button from display :/

Would it be possible to have the emoticon drop-down not have descriptors?
ie: something more like the colour drop-down.

This would enable a larger amount of emoticons to be displayed at once.

The other problem that I noticed is that the markup system is following the Primary Usergroup setting and not the Display Usergroup setting for where the HTML markup...
