Search replication failing - disheartened

Hi,

I'm an admin for a large forum running 3.06 (patched for 3.07 security) and we have had to disable search. The vbulletin search grinds us to a halt and the full text is not cutting it either....

I would like to allow a user group who are not moderators to sticky posts and move/edit posts. Or else I would like to have the permissions changed on a forum level to allow this group to do it.
