Question about Gzip

im wondering, what is the differences of gzip compression levels.

what are the advantages/disadvantages if compressing vbulletin @ a rate of 8-10 rather than 1-2?

will it use less bandwidth?...

vb calender question

ok, i know i have done thise before, but i can't seem to figure it out now. and i did it w/o any hacks i thought, but how can i allow any user to post a public event ont he calender that anyone can...
