For now I have disabled the hack and registrations work again,...

Did you enable it for guests? I do not even see the forum block. So that tells me that you have not enabled the actual forum block in your admincp.

You should be able to change that in the hack itself when you add a banner, at least I thought you were able to do that. Otherwise you would probably have to resize the banners manually instead....

What is you url to the site you are trying to get it working on? I'll have a look and see if I can tell what the issue may be. Make sure that Guest can see the widget box for the banners.

Sorry for the late reply. I'm really bogged down in other stuff right now. If you are using vBulletin 4.2 there is a built in system for navigation that you can set who can see a link and who cannot....
