Once you prune it the members post count from before the posts and threads were pruned will still be viewable...but if you update the post count for members via admin cp it will become for how ever...

When viewing a forum I want users including my self to see the new threads in the forums to be bold/highlighted and once they click a bold thread and come out of that thread it will no longer be bold...
