It's because you setted option "Always Convert...

It's because you setted option "Always Convert Images" to yes. Set it No if you don't want gifs to be converted to jpg.

I love your plugin but there should be an option which can ignore Auto-Moderation for admin's and moderator's threads and replies. I'm using the vbulletin's rss import option which imports rss feeds...
