Hacks that arn't free?

I'm new to the entire vB scene, and just recently found out they had a hacking community. Now I keep hearing people refferring to hacks that arn't free. Does this mean they actually charge money...

Additions For Lesane's Store Hack

How about letting you edit somebody elses post, or post as them once?

Or the ability to use one of those jive-translaters, or any of those translaters that turn what you type into some slang...

Hack Idea

I'd really like it if there was a hack that automatically marks forums as read after all the threads in that forum have been read.

Does a hack as such already exist, and I didn't search enough?

I'd prefer if a 3.0 wasn't released at all, though. That way people would keep hacking 2.2.9! ^_^
