If that does not work I recommend trying vbStopForumSpam. I installed it a few hours ago and it has stopped over 25 spam registrations already. (its in the vbulletin 3.6 mods but works with my site...

Thank you! My board was being hit hard by spammers today and this is stopping them. Prevented 6 from registering since I've installed it. :)

I added the NoSpam modification and the vbStopForumSpam and both are working great. The vbStopForumSpam has prevented about 6 spammers from registering already (in about an hour).
