is it possible to make subforum as category at forumdisplay

example:

Forum
-subforum 1 (closed for posting) -> As category
--subforum 2 -> As forum
--subforum 3 -> as forum

Replace Forum Category text with image

Can i change forum category text with images?
i've tried using <img src=" "> in title but the templates just wrong, not high enough pixel, images cropped.

Notice that not all forum can have forum images (so can be set to certain forum only)
