Is there anyway to stop vb from taking away...

Is there anyway to stop vb from taking away thanks count when post deleted??For example i have 20 thanks but when the site is cleaned up and old posts deleted i lose those thanks??

database error while doing upgrade

i was doing upgrade to latest 4 version and got this error last night.Fixed forgot to turn off plugins and thats what caused errors
