Yes, they are indeed always html, (I don't know anything more than HTML) coding-wise. Would it help if I add the pages to robots.txt?

I've used this several times and it's far more useful than banning or tachy. ESPECIALLY when you set a preset re-direct page. You can really shock the annoying member/s.
