Deleted the old cron file and uninstalled 1.1.1, uploaded and reinstalled 1.0.9, same error.

That is the only function of the TopXstats that I'm using, and lately that one query has been tripling my page generation...

apparently the install script was never creating...

apparently the install script was never creating the vbspell table.
So I manually created it and imported the SQL files...works fine now
