Resolved. The issue was on the providers end, not an issue with vBulletin cleansing output. If a mod could delete this thread at their earliest convenience it'd be appreciated :)

I don't suppose the API is documented anywhere? It'd be a lot easier to start learning to develop for vB if you didn't have to dig for information on what functions and objects do what and where, heh.

User searches do not show errors, but also do not return results. I have tested on members (such as myself) whom I know have PMs stored.
