Question about rm files.... does it actually try to load the video to play it?

everything is uploaded where it needs to be... all the mods are done correctly... I have it set the way I want in the admin cp under options, and the user groups...

When I just tried to double click the file, it comes up blank. Opening it from IE brings it up.
