We did not attempt to move the message archives from the Yahoo group. Instead we disabled the ability to post to the Yahoo Group and left a "Message Archives" link on our new site to the Yahoo...

It seems if I INSERT a blank record into the table "userfield" for each userid I INSERT into "users", it solves my problem.

But I'd feel better if I knew why!

Any comments?
