Ive had a member of my site contact me saying that every time he tried to add code tags, it would post a lot of *'s instead of spaces.. I think its best just to link to an example.

I think the best way to get a lot of original members is to start posting at some big forums with the link in your sig. Another thing that definitely helps is getting zealots and people completely...
