So I have vbulletin installed on my main domain directory mydomain.com

Is there a way to move it into mydomain.com/forum without losing any data/corrupting any info?

If I have both index.htm and index.php (vbulletin) in my main directory, how do I default it so that index.htm comes up whenever mydomain.com is typed in.
