Can an option be given so that this mod creates a post in an existing thread rather that creating a new thread each time?

That would be a big improvement to the mod I think.

I really love this mod but wish there was an option to post in an existing thread rather than create a new post each time. How easy would that be to do? :)

I have installed a birthday greeting mod on out forum, but it's action is to create a new thread each time there is a birthday. We would prefer our BOT to post in an existing thread we have set up.

The picardtux version works good but the cron job...

The picardtux version works good but the cron job posts an hour early. I am guessing due to daylight saving time adjustments. Just go into scheduled tasks and add an hour to the time.
