There's a template/hack mod that you can use so that you can set debug mode on or off in your vBulletin Options. IMO it's a lot easier :)

Mist helped me with some code that I entered into the phpinclude. It makes the users avatar be allowed to show in the header template..

Hmm, don't see why you're getting that error. From what I understand of Xenon's post you shouldn't have actually edited the global.php file. Only added $bbuserinfo[username] into the forumhome_xxxx...
