Default Mobile Style - Pull Forum Category Icons instead of Status Icons

I'm trying to make the 'Default Mobile Style' display the forum category icons from the full desktop site... instead of the 'status' icons that currently appear.

Changing Overall Forums Width

Having some trouble with a very basic issue.

I want my forums to be set at 1000px wide. I've set the 'Main Table Width' in StyleVars to be 1000px... Now, this does change the top header and footer...

Another strange thing I noticed... entered a bg color of white in what I thought controlled the bg of text entries in the main css but with no result...

Trouble formatting at SHOWTHREAD level

I'm having some trouble modifying my forum at the 'SHOWTHREAD' level...

Currently I have the main forums page setup the way I want... 960 pixels wide, with a 624 column and 336 wide column making...
