I'm confused... i am new to this. I have imported the xml as a product... but i see nothing like the admin cp image that was posted anywhere in my admin cp. I added $menualert in the navbar template...

whats the difference between the two?? I have recently been adding mods that require me to edit them but the instructions say either one is ok to edit. Whats the point of the two if they seem to do...
