What would I need to do in order to create an external login system?

The way I have it set up now just includes the global.php file, and I have my own form that sends a POST to vbulletin's login. ...

Mod to get online status of a user and place it anywhere on a site?

Is there a way to get the current online status of a user and place it anywhere on my site?

I already have the login system tied in to prevent access to some parts of the site with the vbulletin...

Yes, but I'm not trying to prevent numbers ENTIRELY. For example, I want the name Shazz2 to be allowed, but with your example, it wouldn't be.

Well, that would just prevent users from having numbers in their username, which I don't want.

I don't want anyone to sign up with a username that is ALL numeric, such as 93452852 or 8234892.

I want XXX users to go and register at one part and get access to one part of the forum only. I want the other XXX users to go to a different registration page and register...

I would like 2 registration systems to be there. They each place users into different groups after they activate.
