Yeah, that can be a problem. Thankfully the one forum that I help mod that uses that sort of system doesn't get that many bad apples and we're only at 2k or so.

The easiest way would be just to pull the variables out of the database with Queries to the database. Or, at least it would be easiest for myself...

An easier method could be just create a "Recycle bin" forum that you move "deleted" posts to, that's hidden and only accessable by Mods and Admins.
