How do I make a hidden section, BUT...

I have had my forum up and going for years. I know how to make a private and/or passworded section that only certain groups can see and/or access.

How do I have a full length header/logo/banner at the top?

I want to add my own banner. How what size do I need to make it, so that it fits the entore width of the forum?

This will replace the vB logo area.
