Has there been anything done to the post status...

Has there been anything done to the post status icons? i.e. The statusicon becomes read when read... this didn't work accurately with the previous versions...

Doesn't this mean that the new post icon is still showing as new even though you have read the post? With the above modification you will need to login again to make them unread...

Any ideas?
