Cron + exec_shut_down();

Hi,

I have a cron job that sends out some PM's, however, the pmtotal and pmunread are not updated as they are placed inside the shutdown query.

Re 'No Permission'.

I had to modify the code in the 'misc_start' hook for it to work.
Also without this change the buddy list feature does not work.

Not sure about policy of displaying...

mysql_connect security issue

Hi, (I'll try this again, this time in the right forum :nervous:)

Please forgive my newbie question, but is using mysql_connect from vb to insert info into a second database a security risk?
