Forum home problems.. and a question

For some reason, my forum home is a little screwy - most noticeably is the footer on forumhome, for some reason it's displaying the background as grey:

Restricting forum width?

As you have here, when you change the browser window size the forum itself does not enlarge or morph as it would usually do.. I was wondering how to do this myself.
