problem using db class in a hook

i have this in the postbit_display_complete hook:

AFAIK the HTML specification only allows plaintext inside <option>...</opton>, you would need to write a DHTML menu (with images) and make it look like a drop down box.

(it may be a VB bug - it doesn't even attempt to load the theme, just goes withthe default theme instead).

Looks great on IE tho.
