I haven't seen this in action yet. If this thread goes unanswered, I suggest you request a modification to be created for this ( paid, i hope ) and then release it to the community :)

The userid remains the same, that way.

I would like so put the new registered users in a completely different usergroup ( so that they have different permissions, etc. )...

I was wondering if there was a way to change the default usergroup ( registered user ) on signup to a new usergroup.

Any file edits I believe ?
