Request: Custom new post popup & submit
 

I need to create trouble tickets into a vBulletin forum. The user needs to have the option of a new thread and a new ticket.

If they click new ticket they'll either get

• a popup form like you get when you click on the search button and there is the field to enter your search term and then click "go",
• a new page with a custom form

only in this there will be a series of fields and when the user submits the data will be formatted and the standard "message" submitted to the forum and the user will be taken to the new thread.

Is there an existing hack to do this? I don't want to recreate the wheel!
