Need header and Footer for index page...
 
I'm in need of a hack/mod/script that will pull the forum header and footer templates for me. I'd like to make an index page that will share those same templates and instead of coding two headers and footers I thought this would be easier.

my index page would be in the public_html folder

my forum page is public_html/forums

Any one have any ideas?

If you include global.php in your script, you will be able to use all the vB functions, including the ones to show templates.
