I am thinking about building a large database with information about plants for aquarium.

It need to be structured into categories and subcategories, and each plant need to have 10-15 parameters. 5-10 of these vil be numers indicating for instance how much light the plant needs (1 litle light, 5 a lot o f light) and so on.

These parameteters need to be searchable in many different ways. The members need to be able to chose the values from dropdown boxes to fint the plants matching their aquarium. Like size, hight, light, PH and so on.

Is there already a hack that can be used for this purpose? Or is there something similar that I can adjust to my purpose?
