protest locked thread
here is a neat plugin idea:
when a thread is locked by staff memebers, the thread creator would have ONE chance (via a popup?) to post again the the thread defending the original post. Forum staff can then decide to unlock/leave locked the thread. |
what if the thread was locked due to a member that isn't the thread starter? What good would it do for the thread starter to have a chance to 'defend' something he/she didn't write?

the title reminded me of something along the lines of mods/users would have to 'vote' on locking a thread ;p
sometimes mods are jumpy... sometimes they arent. Democracy ;p? |

Bud, I think it would turn bad though as you want your moderators to be law ;) and not subject to argument or you'll have people arguing with the moderator and starting a whole nother thread to complain again, and then protest again etc. |
