What is the big change from 3.0 to 3.5?
 

I know what VB states, but I would be curious to see some opinions of people who have upgraded. Currently, I have 3.0.8., but I don't see any big upgrades for me to migrate over to.

Additionally, I would like to see some feedback on people that had a ton of hacks installed in 3.0 and upgraded to 3.5. What are som tips.

Upgrade, once you have gone to 3.5.0 then most other upgrades are painless as there are very few code modifications required as most stuff is now done via plugins.

I upgraded at the 3.5.0 beta 3 stage and haven't looked back.

Features wise, you have the AJAX quick reply and quick edit, inline moderation, and the plugin system. There's probably a load more stuff that I can't just think of right now. (Let me off on that though, it's 12:30AM here and I've had a bad day!)

On my 3.0.x I had practically every hack you can install, installed. If I tell you that my installed hacks pages on here were 4.5 pages long it sorta gives you an indication. Now on my 3.5.0 I've got approx 30-40 hacks installed. I've upgraded through the beta's and RC's with no issues whatsoever and only had to edit about 3 files per upgrade.

Seriously, in the long run it's worth it, plus you get the new funky features to play with.

One thing I really like is it's much easier to delete or manage posts as now there is a check box next to each for the admin. You can check off a whole page of posts if you want and either delete or move them quickly.

Probably other things too but this one sticks out for me. :D
