Keep Smilie Window Open
 

On 3.0.x a user could open the smilie window and keep it open and use that same smilie window to add smilies to each post, this worked well since my site has quite a few smilies.

Now on 3.5.0 the smilies popup closes whenever the user navigates away from the page it was opened from. I would really really appreciate anyone who could bring back the functionality of version 3.0.x.

Can anyone help with this? I've done a search and there seems to be several threads with this same issue. There's one over at vbulletin.com also.

That darn "More" smilies box will not stay open.

I've tried playing with the code from 3.0 to 3.5 but I just don't have the knowledge.

I would even be happy with help coding a separate page and create clickable links for the reply text box. I could leave the link on the forum, so users would only have to load that page once.

Please....any help would be appreciated! Or just point me in the right direction. :D
