[HOWTO] integrate vb.org into Opera quicksearch
Opera users love the feature for typing f.ex. "g vbulletin styles" in the address bar for searching a term in google.
It would be nice to have this feature for vbulletin.org, wouldn?t it? Here? s how you do it: 1.) in Opera, goto "Help" -> "about Opera" and find out where your path to your config files are. 2.) go to that directory and make a copy paste of search.ini and rename the old one to search.ini_old f.ex. 3.) open search.ini and add the following: HTML Code:
[Search Engine xx] 4.) close Opera, open it and type "vborg searchitem" into the addressbar. 5.) goback to search.ini and edit the settings to your liking NJOY!! :) |
