What defines what?
What makes something a product and not a plugin?
Is it simply anything that has more than one plugin? What is the demarkation line between a plugin/product and a hack? It seems it can still be considered a plugin/product when there are template edits required. But how about when there is a file edit. Even if it's only a matter of adding a value to $specialtemplates in forumdisplay.php does that make it a hack? How do you put it all in those xml files? Is that all hand coded or is there an application to assist with this? Just curious. |
