Yep, that's the first thing you have to do. It's very important to have a link there. :) Even if it's on your portal page, the first place people look is the navbar.

Otherwise, good. I like your style. :)

your table spacing between the right/left side and the actual forums seems too wide.

PS. the categories in Firefox are messed up..
