create new page similar to printthread?
 

i'd like to create a new page which is somewhat minimal like printthread.php, but without the header and footer. my intended use for this page is to include it in a non-vb page (to use it to use to show the relevant discussion/comments)

i tried saving printthread.php as printhread2.php and editing that, but i think i probably need to do some work with creating some new templates and such (which i've never done before really)

i'm using 3.5
