Help Me Finish

This was a forum eons ago, IIRC?

Question: If we are working out a mod and have it down to one file edit -- should we post this in the Code Modifications forum as is, or hold onto it and post in the Modification Questions forum in the hopes of help finding the elusive hook?

Either beta with a clause or mod questions for stability. If you have come this far, why not follow through and complete it.

Beta forum would be the place and with a proper warning.

think u guys are misunderstanding her

post it already in modifications then it gets moved if kirby comes along and tells u how to avoid the edit :)

Thanks Jenta -- that is what I was asking.

I have a working addon down to one file edit but want to make it a full product.

I will try just asking the question in the mod questions forum for now.

I don't see the problem with it being in the Beta forum, but then again I'm not exactly very knowledgeable about what is let in the Beta forum and what isn't so I'm not the person to ask. Hopefully Kirby or someone who knows can answer your query soon.

tony, its not beta and there is no 3.5 beta forum
its just that she doesnt want to release it as a code modification hack

Xenon 10-15-2005 02:16 PM

@Christine: i'd post it as it is, once you found out a plugin only way you can still update it :)

Andreas 10-15-2005 11:49 PM

@Christine
Post it as a Code mod. If it turns out that it can be made into a plugin, it can always be moved afterwards :)
