I am very sorry to be a pest about this, but I'm still not getting the digi-chat login to work, and am hoping someone can help me.

What I've done so far is to take mrogish's script from another thread (and I think this hack is not for 2.0)...

I've replaced the urls with my own of course. The applet appears, but it doesn't recognize my login, even though i am logged into the forum.

So based on your notes in another thread, I changed the two instances of $bbusername to $bbuserinfo, but I didn't change anything else. But it still doesn't recognize my login. I'm apparently leaving something out. Any suggestions?

What I'm trying to accomlish is a login like the one on the hole.com site. (I've asked them if they would be willing to share the script, but haven't received a reply yet and need to have this going by the end of the week)

I changed
Code:
$bbusername  = $user[ username ];
to:

$bbuserinfo  = $user[ username ];
I then changed
Code:
ARCHIVE=\"client.jar\" nickname=\"$bbusername\">
to
Code:
ARCHIVE=\"client.jar\" nickname=\"$bbuserinfo\">


I added this to the applet:
Code:
PARAM NAME=\"nickname\" VALUE=\"$bbuserinfo[username]\">
and it finally let me log in. However, it only logged me in with the first letter of my username (as an 'a' when logged in as admin, or an 's' when logged in as sleepy)

I changed it to
Code:
<PARAM NAME=\"nickname\" VALUE=\"$bbuserid[username]\">
And this time it logged me in as my member number (admin was the first to register so that logs me in as '1' and sleepy was the 5th to register so it logs me in as '5')

It is at least recognizing a log in at this point, but it's not doing what it should.

How can I get it to log me in as my actual username instead of just the first letter or the member number?

I'm also looking for any information on how to use DigiChat with the VBulletin (v.2) software.
