show latest thread info on an external page
 
i have a little welcome note in my index.html page in public_html. i would like to show 10 latest thread title, maybe last poster, or the time from /forum in the index page.

you know just to lure visitors to join my forum.

Have you tried the syndication feature built into vbulletin 3.0 and 3.5? You can choose to use javascript and copy/paste the code into your index page.
