League sign up (a bit different to other ones requested)
 

My site currently has a sign up thread where people can sign up to be wrestlers in the Smackdown Vs RAW 2006 game coming out next month. The problem is people its getting confusing, me adding people into the league and people wanting to be wrestlers who are already chosen. What i would like is some type of drop down menu (or input text box) in the user cp where people can choose there wrestler, but if its been taken it rejects them, similar to when people change their username.

I dont know how easy this would be to create but would it be possible?

(if the above didnt sound clear i'll try to explain better. This could probably be a generic hack aswell, not just for one game)
