Easy mod request

If you set your private forums to display with post count and only people who are allowed to access them can how do you make it show last post but only only allow people who can access it can?

Instead of it showing "Private" as last post make it show the last post but when someone clicks on the last post it forces a login and if they dont have premission to access that forum then they can't view that last post

need this soon please

OK, it doesn't need a hack, just clever use of the forum permissions.

Set all forum permissions to NO then change the following to YES

Can View Forum
Can view others threads

Ensure that Can View Thread Content is set to NO. This will allow users to view the thread titles only. All content is private and comes up with a no permission page.
