Extend Time For Currently Active Users

How would I do this? I would like to extend the time to like half an hour or something...

Just edit the cookie timeout.

You can change it here:

vBulletin Options -> vBulletin Options -> Cookies and HTTP Header Options -> Time-Out for Cookie (first option).
